Shown above is a super-sized/heavy generator for a new power plant. To disperse the extreme weight and make the crossing of a 660 ft. bridge, Burkhalter deployed a special 32-axel configuration of its Goldhofer hydraulic platform trailers. With the safe/successful completion of this noteworthy and technical haul, The Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association (SC&RA) awarded Burkhalter the 2002 Hauling Job of the Year. |
