Super-sized multimodal project began at fabrication site in Moss Point, Mississippi and ended at Pascagoula, Mississippi drydock. Burkhalter rigged, lifted, and transported the super-sized and heavy pontoon during a successful barge RORO. This was the second delivery of gigantic pontoons slated for the underside of the world's largest oil drilling platform. Goldhofer trailers were used to transport, set, and hold the huge steel pontoons against the platform for placement and welding.
